For an alternate view of the landscape, factors (From PESTLE analysis) are traced to Strategies, Product lines and Core Processes. This is a type of impact relationship assessment and search for hidden relationships. A change in a the Economic Situation can be traced to impact on Core Processes.
The two diagrams relate to each other in terms of insights. If the economic conditions change, the organization Hs the skills to detect and assess that situation and the path to point sows what would be impacted. The organization has sufficient skills and needs to deal with the impact.
